ANUPA Holds 2026 National Workshop at Ajayi Crowther University; Honours VC Oduwole and Former Registrar Fatogun

Senior university administrators from across higher institutions in the South-West region converged at Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, for the 2026 National Training Workshop of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA). 

The workshop, which began on May 5, 2026, was themed “Advancing University Resilience Through Effective Strategic Governance, Administrative Excellence and Institutional Sustainability”.

During the event, the National Executive Council of ANUPA and the local organizing committee presented special awards of recognition to:

Professor Ebunoluwa Oduwole: The 5th substantive and first female Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, honoured for her leadership and support of the association.

Mrs. Adenike Fatogun: The second substantive Registrar of the university, recognized for her significant contributions to administrative excellence.

In her address, Professor Oduwole urged university administrators to move beyond "routine practices" and adopt innovation, accountability, and ethical conduct to ensure institutional stability. 

Dr. Victor Bem, the National President of ANUPA, described the association as a cornerstone of Nigerian university stability and disclosed ongoing efforts to secure chartered status for the association to further professionalize administrative practice.
