ASUU to Embark on Nationwide Protests Over Unmet Demands

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced plans for nationwide protests in response to the Federal Government's alleged foot-dragging on key issues affecting the university system.

The union's National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, held at Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, resolved to take this step after accusing the government of failing to address outstanding demands.

The union will organize simultaneous protests across all branches, with press conferences to be held in all branches. The date for these protests will be communicated in due course.
