Bayero University's 15th Governing Council Holds Inaugural Meeting, Inspects Facilities

The 15th Governing Council of Bayero University Kano (BUK) held its maiden meeting, chaired by Honourable Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council.

The meeting aimed to discuss the university's development and set priorities for the council's tenure.

During the meeting, the council members inspected various facilities, including laboratories and teaching facilities in the new campus. Gawuna commended the management's judicious use of resources, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, despite financial constraints.

Gawuna encouraged council members to utilize their networks to bring benefits to the university, ensuring a remarkable tenure. The Vice-Chancellor briefed the council on the university's progress, highlighting areas for collaboration and development.
