The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) community is celebrating the remarkable achievement of Blessing Sunday, who emerged as the Best Graduating Student in both the Faculty of Science and the Department of Biological Sciences for the 2025 academic session.
Blessing graduated with First Class Honours in Biology/Biological Sciences, a feat that distinguishes her as a top-tier scholar within the institution.
The graduation ceremony served as a formal validation of her hard work. Blessing had the distinct honour of being recognized by high-profile dignitaries, including the University’s Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor, and former Nigerian President, Gen. Yakubu Gowon.
Reflecting on her achievement, Blessing described the experience as "uniquely surreal," noting that walking across the stage was the culmination of every late-night study session and sacrifice.
