COELS Nguru Partners with GajiTech Solutions to Empower Examination Officers via AI and Digital Collaboration Tools

The College, through its newly established Directorate of Teaching Professionalism and Mentorship, in collaboration with GajiTech Solutions, has successfully organized a one-day capacity-building workshop for Departmental Examination Officers. 

Held at the College ICT Park under the theme, “Leveraging AI and Digital Collaboration Tools for 21st-Century Teaching, Research, and Assessment,” the Workshop was designed to strengthen the capacity of tje examination officers in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Google collaborative tools to improve assessment processes, examination management, research activities, and administrative efficiency.

Facilitating the Workshop, Bukar Adamu Gaji, provided the participants with practical knowledge on the use of AI for research development, literature reviews, academic referencing, data analysis, and scholarly writing.

 The workshop also featured hands-on sessions on Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Classroom, highlighting their relevance in digital assessment, student evaluation, record management, and collaborative learning. Participants gained valuable insights into how emerging technologies can enhance productivity, accuracy, innovation, and teamwork within the academic environment.

In his remarks, the Provost, Prof. Ali Manzo Usman, commended the Directorate of Teaching Professionalism and Mentorship and GajiTech Solutions for organizing the Workshop, describing it as a timely initiative aimed at equipping staff with essential digital competencies.

Represented by his Deputy, Dr Muhammad Muhammad Ali, the Provost encouraged the Departmental Examination Officers to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to enhance service delivery and contribute to the College’s pursuit of academic excellence.
