COOU Holds 26th Inaugural Lecture Series on Semiconductors and Technological Advancement

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, will on Thursday, 18th September 2025, host its 26th Inaugural Lecture Series at the ETF Auditorium, Igbariam Campus.
The lecture, scheduled for 11 a.m., will be delivered by Professor Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa, a renowned Professor of Solid State Physics.
The lecture is titled “Semiconductors and Their Tailoring: The Cornerstone of Technological Advancement”. Professor Ezenwa, who is widely recognized for her contributions to research in solid state physics, will explore the crucial role of semiconductors in modern technology and their potential in driving innovation and industrial growth.

The event will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor of COOU, Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, FNIPR, who, on behalf of the University Senate, staff, and students, has extended a cordial invitation to the public.
According to the Inaugural Lecture Committee, chaired by Professor O. S. A. Obikeze with Dr. Okekwe Ihezia as Secretary, the lecture promises to provide deep insights into technological advancement through semiconductor research and applications.
