COOU Holds Academic Workshop on Modern Teaching Strategies for Lecturers

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, through its Department of Public Administration, has announced a workshop for academic staff focused on improving teaching effectiveness in the 21st century.
The workshop is themed “Repositioning Teaching in the 21st Century: Understanding the Role and Responsibilities of Lecturers and Strategies for Effective Lecture Delivery.”
According to the announcement, the programme is scheduled to hold on 28th April, 2026, at the Faculty of Social Sciences Conference Room by 10:00am.

The event will feature three resource persons: Prof. O.S.A. Obikeze, Prof. M.H. Odum, and Prof. E.A. Obi, who are expected to lead discussions on modern teaching approaches and academic delivery standards.
The Department noted that the workshop is aimed at strengthening lecturers’ capacity and improving classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
The programme has been approved by the Head of Department, Prof. Ego Dike.
