Council of Ulama Reaffirms Support for BUK Vice-Chancellor, Commends His Productive 100 Days in Office

The Kano State Council of Ulama has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano Professor Haruna Musa, fsi, expressing its readiness to continue partnering with the University’s leadership.

During a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, the Chairman of the Council, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, said the Ulama were highly impressed with the achievements recorded within the Vice-Chancellor’s first 100 days in office. He highlighted key milestones, including staff welfare improvements, the renovation of students’ hostels, and the proposed development of 500 housing units for staff under the Federal Mortgage Bank initiative.
