FUTMinna SUG Issues Public Safety Warning Against Unauthorized Group "Neolife"

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna), in collaboration with the School Management, has issued a public notice warning students, particularly freshmen, to beware of an unauthorized group known as "Neolife."

The Press Release, dated Tuesday, December 2, 2025, alerts the student body that individuals associated with the group are operating both on and around campus, allegedly offering misleading quick-money opportunities and other false promises interaction with Neolife, emphasizing that the group does not represent the university in any capacity.

The union explicitly stated that the group's activities have been linked to scams, distraction from academics, and a significant drop in students' performance in previous sessions.

Students are instructed not to attend any meetings, gatherings, or "business opportunities" presented by these individuals and to walk away immediately if approached.

 Students are urged to report any encounters to the SUG Welfare Director or through the official contact numbers provided.

The SUG reiterated that students interested in acquiring skills or engaging in entrepreneurship should utilize the safe, structured, and beneficial programs and platforms officially provided and approved by the school.

The notice concluded by emphasizing that the safety and academic excellence of the students remain the top priority of the "Pace Administration."

The warning was announced by Comr. Muhammad Nurudeen Liman (DE-PROF), Public Relations Officer, and e-signed by Comr. Arowosegbe Daniel Precious (OLUWADANIEL), Secretary General, for the Executive President, Comr. Sen Adaidu Ezekiel Machofo (CALCULUS).
