EKSU Distinguished Academic, Professor Olufunmilayo Osakinle, Bids Farewell to Academia

Professor Eunice Olufunmilayo Osakinle, a renowned scholar in adolescent and reproductive health counseling, has marked a significant milestone in her life and career. On October 18, 2025, she celebrated her 70th birthday, coinciding with her retirement from active service at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.

Professor Osakinle's academic journey spans over four decades, during which she established herself as a committed teacher, mentor, and researcher. She has published over 90 works, including books, chapters, and journal articles, and has supervised numerous postgraduate theses. Her 2021 inaugural lecture, "Sexuality Education of the Girl-Child: Guidance for a Better Tomorrow," is widely regarded as a significant contribution to educational and social discourse in Nigeria.

Throughout her career, Professor Osakinle has demonstrated a commitment to education and humanity.
