EKSU Opens Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening for 2026/2027 Academic Session
The Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university announced that the online screening commenced on Friday, July 3, 2026, stressing that there will be no written Post-UTME examination.
Eligibility
Candidates who chose EKSU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and meet the required admission requirements are eligible to apply.
The university also stated that candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME may apply, provided they change their first-choice institution to EKSU through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Successful candidates from EKSU's Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes will also be considered for admission in line with Senate approval.
Candidates awaiting the release of their SSCE results are eligible to apply and are expected to upload their results immediately after they are released.

Course Cut-Off Marks
The minimum UTME scores for the following programmes are:
- Computer Science – 180
- Engineering Programmes – 180
- Medical Biochemistry – 180
- Mass Communication – 200
- Medical Laboratory Science – 220
- Nursing Science – 230
- Pharmacy – 240
- Law – 250
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) – 200
Candidates who do not meet the required cut-off mark for any of the programmes listed above are advised to change to other available courses through JAMB to improve their chances of admission.
Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of Upper Credit from a Polytechnic for Engineering programmes.
- A minimum of Lower Credit for other programmes.
- A minimum of Second Class Lower Division in relevant disciplines for programmes such as Nursing and Law.
- Nursing Science applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN).
- NCE holders applying for Education programmes must possess Credit or Merit in relevant teaching subjects.
Direct Entry candidates wishing to change their first-choice institution to EKSU will also be considered.
The university directed Direct Entry applicants to forward their academic transcripts to:
admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng
on or before July 31, 2026. Applications without transcripts submitted before the deadline will not be considered.
Important Information
Candidates with NECO results are required to submit their NECO Result Verification Tokens to the Admissions Office for verification.
The university warned that any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise or uploads false information will be disqualified from the admission process.

Verify their email address and log in using their email address or JAMB Registration Number.

Select the 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry application.

Enter their JAMB Registration Number. Candidates who selected EKSU as first choice will have their details automatically populated, while others must manually provide their details after changing their institution to EKSU.

Pay the prescribed Post-UTME screening fee online.

Upload a recent 1×1 coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.

Upload their O'Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.

Submit, validate and print the completed screening application form.
