Fatima Umar has etched her name in the history books of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, following her extraordinary performance at the 2026 Convocation Ceremony.

Graduating with a staggering 4.91 CGPA, Fatima earned a First Class Honours Degree (Bachelor of Agriculture), making her the Overall Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Agriculture. Her academic prowess also secured her the position of Second Best Graduating Student in the entire University for the Class of 2025.

Fatima’s achievement is being celebrated as a significant milestone for women in STEM and Agricultural Sciences in Northern Nigeria. Her 4.91 CGPA stands as one of the highest recorded in the Faculty of Agriculture in recent years, highlighting her dedication and research excellence.
