Federal Ministry of Agriculture Empowers FUNAAB Odeda Farmers Cooperative

The FUNAAB Odeda Farmers Cooperative Multipurpose Society Limited has received empowerment support from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) to enhance agricultural productivity and strengthen the capacity of its members.

Items presented to the Cooperative include a power tiller, water pump, knapsack sprayers, fertilizer, pepper and tomato seeds, a grinding machine, planter, Ultimate Plus, insecticides, and fungicide.

While receiving the items, the President of the Cooperative, Mr. Ayorinde Isaiah, expressed appreciation to FMAFS for the support, noting that the equipment would be judiciously utilised to boost food production and improve members’ livelihoods.

The intervention is expected to strengthen mechanised farming operations and significantly improve crop yield among members of the Cooperative.
