Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the Medical Centre.
- Report directly to the Rector to ensure smooth management of the Medical Centre.
- Coordinate the work and activities of subordinate staff at the Centre.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Rector.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- At least 15 years post-qualification cognate experience, or 12 years for candidates with postgraduate medical qualifications.
- Current practicing license is required.
- Must be ICT-compliant, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Maximum age: 55 years at the time of assumption of duty.
Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service:
- Tenure: 5 years (single tenure).
- Salary Grade: CONMESS 7.
- Conditions of Service: As applicable in all Federal Polytechnics.
