The university announced that the online screening portal is now open to candidates who selected Federal University Lokoja as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates who did not initially choose the university but are willing to change their institution of first choice to FUL are also eligible to apply.
According to the university, the screening exercise is part of the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session and is aimed at selecting qualified candidates for its various undergraduate programmes.

The management advised prospective applicants to carefully review the admission requirements, eligibility criteria, available programmes, registration procedures and application deadlines before completing their registration. Candidates were also urged to ensure that all information submitted during the application process is accurate and consistent with their official records.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, merit-based and efficient admission process in line with the guidelines of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the institution's admission policy.
