From Adversity to Triumph, Dr. Akhere Felix Aihian Inspiring Journey

Dr. Akhere Felix Aihian's story is a testament to the power of determination and hard work. Initially denied admission to study Medicine at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Felix was offered Integrated Science Education instead. However, he did not give up.

He later gained admission to study Biochemistry at UNIBEN and excelled, graduating with First Class Honours (CGPA 4.74/5.0) in 2015.

Felix's academic excellence earned him a fully-funded PhD scholarship worth over €40,000 at Munster Technological University, Ireland. He completed his doctorate in 2022, with two patents to his name. Today, he is a Clinical Research Scientist at ThermoFisher Scientific, a leading biopharma company.
