FUE Zaria Mourns Deceased Staff Member, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, led a delegation of Management members of the Federal University of Education, Zaria to attend the Janaza prayer and offer condolences following the passing of a staff member in Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna.

The deceased, Haj. Fadila Adamu, who passed away earlier in the day after an illness, was a staff member of the University at the Directorate of Skill Development and Linkages.

She was also the wife of the immediate past Registrar of the institution during the defunct Federal College of Education, Zaria.

Accompanying the Deputy Vice-Chancellor were the Acting Registrar, Mal. Shehu Iya Sa'idu; the Acting Bursar, Alh. Muhammad Kabir Aliyu and Director Academic Planning, Dr. Haliru Musa. 

Also Director Audit, Mal. Dahiru Garba; Barr. M. S. Abubakar, the Ag. Librarian, Mal. Tijjani Ahmed, and the Ag. Director of Security Services, Mal. Halilu Hassan, were among the delegation.

Dr. Balarabe conveyed profound condolences on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, Management, staff, students, and the entire University community to the family of the deceased, praying for comfort and strength for them during this difficult period.

The janaza prayer was also attended by other members of the University community including former Provost and Bursar of the defunct FCE Zaria, Dr. M. I. Maccido and Dr H. M. Jumare; former Legal Officer, Barr. Buhari Zailani, former COEASU chairman, Dr. Yahuza Salmanu, chairmen of the senior and academic staff, Mal. Abdullahi Ibrahim and Dr. Ubale Isma'ila Alhaji, among many others.
