FUEP Security Division Introduces New Outfits To Boost Campus Security
The Security Division of the Federal University of Education Pankshin (FUEP) has introduced new uniforms for its security personnel as part of efforts to improve visibility, boost morale and strengthen professionalism in campus security operations.
The Chief Security Officer of the University, Wing Commander Maimako Paul Yusuf (Rtd), disclosed this in a statement, explaining that the initiative is aimed at reinforcing the role of security personnel in ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
According to him, the new outfits are designed to promote a stronger sense of identity and responsibility among personnel while reassuring staff, students and visitors of their commitment to campus safety.

He said the changes would become noticeable throughout November 2026, while expressing appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Noel Nen'Nenman Ndalbeh Wannang, and the University management team for making the initiative possible.
The CSO emphasised that security personnel exist to serve and protect the entire University community, ensuring that staff and students can concentrate on teaching and learning without compromising their safety.
He also urged members of the University community to remain vigilant and cooperate with security personnel by promptly reporting suspicious activities.
