FULafia VC Appoints Ibrahim Sabuwa as Head of Biometric and Computer-Based Test Unit

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has appointed Mr. Ibrahim A. B. Sabuwa as the Head of the Biometric and Computer-Based Test Unit in the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The appointment, which took effect on October 8, 2025, is for a period of one year.

As the Head of the Biometric and Computer-Based Test Unit, Mr. Sabuwa will provide academic and administrative leadership, ensuring the effective management of biometric systems and computer-based examinations. He will be responsible to the acting Director of the ICT Directorate.

The appointment reflects the university's commitment to strengthening its ICT infrastructure, particularly in maintaining transparency and efficiency in academic assessments.
