FUNAAB Registry Department Holds Annual Thanksgiving and Prayer Session

The Registry Department of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) held its annual Thanksgiving and Prayer Session on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, bringing together staff for a time of worship, reflection, and gratitude to mark the new year.

The programme featured praise and worship, exhortation, and intercessory prayers, during which participants committed the activities of the Registry Department and the overall progress of the University into God’s hands.

In his address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Babatunde Kehinde, represented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Professor Olusegun Idowu, highlighted the strategic role of the Registry as the “heartbeat of administration”, emphasizing its critical contribution to the smooth running of University operations.

The Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, expressed profound gratitude to God for His faithfulness and commended staff for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to duty.

The prayer session was led by Mrs. Ajoke Majiyagbe, Mr. Gafar Adewuyi, Mrs. Olasunmbo Ayoola, and Mr. Samson Adeniran, who offered prayers for the University Management, staff, students, as well as for peace, progress, and prosperity in FUNAAB, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large.
