FUTA Women Forum Pays Courtesy Visit to Elizade University Vice-Chancellor

Speaking on behalf of the Forum, the President, Professor Catherine Ikumapayi, lauded Professor Oguntunde’s distinguished record of service, particularly his tenure as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), FUTA, where he was widely regarded as a composed, visionary administrator and accomplished academic leader. She expressed strong confidence in his ability to steer Elizade University towards enhanced institutional growth, development, and innovation.
In his response, Professor Oguntunde appreciated the delegation for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit and felicitate with him. He emphasized that individuals in positions of influence have a responsibility to make meaningful contributions to human development. He further noted that FUTA, as a mentor institution, has a duty to provide guidance and support whenever called upon, especially in areas of expertise and research. He reaffirmed his commitment to remain a worthy ambassador of FUTA and pledged to provide purposeful leadership that will advance Elizade University.
