Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori has appointed Prof. Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba as the new Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka, effective December 1, 2024.

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, has officially appointed Prof. Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba as the new Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka. The announcement was made through a statement by Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, the Secretary to the State Government.

Prof. Asagba's appointment is set to take effect on December 1, 2024. A distinguished scholar in Environmental Biochemistry and Toxicology, he has made notable contributions to the academic community, previously serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration and as Provost of the former Asaba Campus.
