Gombe State University (GSU) has held its 20th Inaugural Lecture, focusing on the critical issue of university funding in Nigeria.

The event featured a keynote presentation by GSU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, who emphasized the need for a more equitable and sustainable funding framework.

Professor Yauta's lecture, "The Three-Legged Stool: Rethinking Who Pays for University Education in Nigeria," highlighted the challenges facing Nigerian universities and proposed practical solutions to address them. The event was attended by prominent academics, policymakers, and government officials, including the Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau .
