GUUT Technologies Signs Landmark MOU with Modibbo Adama University, Yola

In a significant move to bolster data security and compliance, GUUT Technologies has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Modibbo Adama University, Yola (MAU).

This partnership aims to enhance data protection practices among university personnel, particularly those handling sensitive personal data.

The MOU, signed by the university's management, marks the commencement of an enlightenment program designed to educate top management officials on best practices for safeguarding documents and personal data. Prof. Samuel Musa, Data Protection Officer of the university, emphasized the importance of data protection, stressing that it is a legal requirement for all data controllers.

Mr. Bamgbose Oluwagbenga, leader of GUUT Technologies, underscored the essential role of data protection and privacy in achieving NDPR/GDPR compliance for CVC members. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Iliyasu Audu, expressed gratitude to GUUT Technologies, emphasizing the program's significance in improving data security within the institution.

The opening conference, attended by top management officials, including University Principal Officers, Deans, and Professors, serves as a pivotal step towards fortifying data protection practices and safeguarding sensitive information within the university.
