IAUE Completes NERD Integrated Workflow, Uploads Over 2,500 Graduate Results to Digital Portal

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has announced the successful completion of its NERD Integrated Workflow model, marking a significant advancement in its digital academic records management system.

According to the institution, the implementation has enabled graduating students to comply with the policy of uploading and depositing their academic outputs and final-year projects on the NERD Digital Portal. Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are also now able to access and download their NERD Clearance Slip and NCVS Certificate through the platform.

The university disclosed that graduation results for over 2,500 graduates have already been uploaded to the system, with all required data fields, including National Identification Number (NIN), duly completed. Additional records are currently being compiled for subsequent upload.

This achievement was made possible through the integration of a structured data collection form into the university’s portal, designed to capture previously unavailable information, including NIN details. Graduates were notified via a secured broadcasting email system to log in and complete the online NERD data collection form, with over 4,000 students responding within two weeks.

The institution stated that the process was coordinated through the collaborative efforts of the NFO, NRO, and NDO units, with support from the university management.

The NERD Integrated Workflow, described by the institution as the “IAUE Model,” is being positioned as a structured digital framework for improving academic data management, transparency, and graduate documentation efficiency.
