Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), has successfully hosted the 2025 Vice Chancellor's Inter-Faculty Cup, a week-long competition that featured various sports disciplines.

The Faculty of Education and Arts emerged overall champions, ahead of other faculties, in a tournament that showcased the university's commitment to sports development.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor Mohammed Aliyu Bello, congratulated the Directorate of Sports for hosting a keenly contested tournament. He assured that the university remains committed to strengthening sports, noting that requests from the Directorate are always met with approval.

The university is gearing up for the forthcoming Pre-NUGA Games in Abuja, and the Vice Chancellor's Cup is seen as a crucial step in identifying and grooming talented athletes.
