IBILE EKO Summit Foundation Congratulates LASU Vice-Chancellor, Reaffirms Commitment to Partnership

The IBILE EKO Summit Foundation has congratulated the 10th Substantive Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Professor Ayodeji Olawunmi Badejo, FCASSON, FAPROCON, MNAE, on her assumption of office.

The Foundation conveyed its goodwill during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, where it presented a Letter of Congratulations and a commemorative photo frame to mark her assumption of office.

The President of the Foundation, Mr Olasupo Shasore, SAN, was represented by Professor Habeeb Sanni, who stated on behalf of the Foundation that it was delighted to witness the new chapter in the history of the university.

Professor Sanni expressed confidence that Professor Badejo's leadership would further strengthen LASU's growth, excellence and impact.

He also reaffirmed the Foundation's commitment to supporting initiatives that advance the development of Lagos State and its institutions. He added that the Foundation was ready to foster a fruitful and enduring partnership with the university under Professor Badejo's leadership.

Responding to the delegation, the Vice-Chancellor appreciated the Foundation for the warm gesture and congratulatory message extended to her upon her assumption of office.

She reiterated her open-door policy and assured the IBILE EKO Summit Foundation of her readiness to collaborate with the organisation in areas that would promote the growth and development of Lagos State University.

Professor Badejo further expressed appreciation for the Foundation's goodwill and support, noting the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing the university's vision and institutional development.

Other members of the delegation were the Executive Secretary, Dr Sadiq Afinah; Professor Olawale Lawal; Professor Bashir Animashaun; Dr Seyido Bokoh, Head, Badagry Division; and Professor Henry Hunjo.
