The Management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has announced the closure of the portal for the 2025/2026 academic session and issued directives to Deans and Heads of Departments to urgently review and process students' examination results.
The directives, contained in an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Mrs Oluwayomi O. Agbebaku, MANUPA, MNIM, cover the closure of the academic portal, review of Computer-Based Examination (CBE) results and expedited consideration of second-semester examination results for the 2025/2026 academic session.
- Closure of the 2025/2026 Academic Session Portal
The university has formally announced that its portal for the 2025/2026 academic session is now closed.
Students have been advised to take note of the development and channel any outstanding issues relating to course registration, academic records and other portal-related matters through their respective departments and faculties for appropriate consideration.
Management also cautioned students against unauthorised transactions or dealings with individuals claiming they can facilitate access to the closed portal.
- Review of 2025/2026 Academic Session CBE Results
The university informed all Deans and Heads of Departments that the ICT Unit had forwarded the second-semester Computer-Based Examination (CBE) results for the 2025/2026 academic session to the respective faculties and departments.

Consequently, all Departmental Boards of Studies and Faculty Boards have been directed to carefully examine the results, verify the accuracy and completeness of the information provided, and promptly communicate their observations, corrections or confirmations to the ICT Unit for further processing.
Management emphasised that the exercise must be treated with utmost urgency to prevent unnecessary delays in the processing and release of students' results.
- Urgent Consideration of Second-Semester Results
All departments and faculties have also been directed to expedite the consideration and processing of second-semester examination results for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Heads of Departments and Deans are expected to ensure that the appropriate Departmental and Faculty Boards convene promptly to consider the results and forward the necessary recommendations and approved records through the university's established procedures.
Management further warned that unnecessary delays in the processing of examination results would not be encouraged, particularly given the implications for students' academic progression and other administrative processes.
The university therefore urged all concerned officers, departments and faculties to accord the directives the seriousness and urgency they deserve.
The notice was signed by the Registrar, Mrs Oluwayomi O. Agbebaku, MANUPA, MNIM, and issued for the information and compliance of all students, staff, members of the university community and the general public.
