Imo State University (IMSU) has released its admission list for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates who applied for admission to IMSU can now check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

 Admission in Progress

Admission in Progress  indicates that IMSU has reviewed the candidate's application and recommended the candidate for admission.

However, the recommendation is still awaiting approval from the appropriate authority and final review by JAMB.

Recommended

The Recommended status means the university has considered the candidate for admission, but JAMB is still reviewing the application to confirm that all admission requirements have been met.

Candidates with this status should continue checking their CAPS regularly for an update.

Not Admitted

Not Admitted means the candidate has not been selected for admission at the time of checking.

However, this does not necessarily mean the admission process is over, as the university may still be processing or releasing its admission list.

Pending

The JAMB process does not deduct the required charge from borrowed airtime or Xtra Credit.
