JAMB Releases 2025 Mock UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was held nationwide on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
A total of 200,113 candidates registered for the optional preparatory examination, out of which 126,181 sat for the test. However, 73,844 candidates were absent, and an additional 88 candidates were unable to take the exam due to failed biometric verification.
According to JAMB, 115,735 results have been processed and released, while the results of 10,446 candidates are still being finalized and will be made available in due course.
Candidates who participated in the mock UTME can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used during registration.
JAMB acknowledged that several candidates experienced technical challenges during the exam, attributing the issues to the trial of new innovations and infrastructure improvements ahead of the main UTME. The Board expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and offered an apology to affected candidates.
“The mock examination was designed to test the new features that will be deployed for the main UTME. While the introduction of these features caused some disruptions in certain centres, we are working to ensure a smoother experience for all candidates during the main examination,” the statement read.
The main UTME examination is scheduled to commence on April 25, 2025.
