The announcement was made during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja on Monday, where key stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector gathered to review admission guidelines and performance trends for the year.
According to JAMB, the publication of the top scorers highlights exceptional academic performance among candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME. The board noted that the exercise reflects ongoing efforts to promote merit-based admission and encourage academic excellence across the country.
