Jigawa NYSC State Coordinator Urges Camp Officials to Stay Focused on Responsibilities

The NYSC Jigawa State Coordinator, Mallam Jidda Dawut, has called on camp officials to remain committed to their responsibilities in ensuring the smooth running of the orientation camp. He made this statement during an extended steering committee meeting with heads of committees, collaborating agencies, platoon leaders, and hostel governors.

Mallam Dawut expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far at the camp but emphasized that more can be achieved with continued dedication. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Corps Camp Director, platoon leaders, and hostel governors to present challenges faced within their platoons and hostels. In response, the State Coordinator immediately instructed the Head of Accommodation and Utility to address the complaints without delay.

In addition, Mallam Dawut issued a strict warning against unauthorized contributions at the platoon level, affirming that the management would provide all necessary materials for camp activities, including sports, socials, and the cultural carnival. He emphasized the need for camp officials to maintain a high level of responsiveness to issues to ensure a successful orientation course.
