KASU Excels at 27th NUGA Games in Jos

Kaduna State University (KASU) has made significant strides at the 27th Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA) in Jos, Plateau State, securing a gold medal in badminton and a bronze medal in Taekwondo.

The university's female badminton team, comprising Mabel Kanwai Gyeyock and Joel Barau Gideon, won gold in the team event category with outstanding skill and teamwork at the Old Government House Badminton Hall on November 11, 2025. Their victory has brought pride and admiration from KASU sports officials and supporters.

Additionally, Nana Khadija Abdullahi earned a bronze medal in Taekwondo, demonstrating courage and resilience in her semi-final bout against Bayero University, Kano. Her achievement has inspired aspiring athletes within the university, showcasing the rewards of dedication and discipline in sports.
