Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced an extension of the deadline for verification and registration of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session, following admissions offered through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

KASU Extends New Students’ Verification and Registration Deadline

Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced an extension of the deadline for verification and registration of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session, following admissions offered through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the final deadline for screening and registration is Friday, January 23, 2026. The university made it clear that any candidate who fails to complete registration by this date will automatically forfeit the admission, with no further extension under any circumstance.

The university urged all provisionally admitted candidates to complete their registration promptly and ensure that all required documents are properly submitted.

Screening Schedule

  • Dates: Monday, January 19 – Friday, January 23, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (daily)
  • Venue: Directorate of Admissions and Examinations, KASU Main Campus, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna

Mandatory Pre-Screening (To Be Completed Online Before Arrival)

  • Log in to the SAFapply (Post-UTME) Portal via applicant.safapply.com/kasu
  • Upload a clear scanned copy of the JAMB Admission Letter by:
    • Clicking Edit Application on the dashboard
    • Navigating to Document Upload
    • Uploading the admission letter
    • Previewing and submitting the update
  • Print the Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip as evidence of completion

Documents Required for Physical Screening
(Candidates must present originals and two photocopies each, arranged in the listed order)

  • JAMB Admission Letter (printed from JAMB CAPS)
  • JAMB Original Result Slip
  • O’Level Result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, etc.)
  • Valid scratch card for the O’Level result used
  • Two copies of online-generated O’Level result (from WAEC/NECO/NABTEB portals)
  • Birth Certificate or sworn age declaration
  • Primary School Leaving Certificate
  • Local Government of Origin/Indigene Certificate
  • Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip (from SAFapply portal)
  • National Identification Number (NIN) slip
