The Khairun Staff Ahlul Qur’an initiative at Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN) received a significant boost on Thursday, April 9, 2026, with a distinguished visit from Dr. Yusuf Gwani Lajin, a member of the University’s Board of Trustees.

During the visit, Dr. Lajin commended the initiative, describing it as a vital pillar for sustaining the spiritual and moral fabric of the university community. He joined the session to witness firsthand the dedication of the staff to the recitation and reflection of the Holy Book.

The Ahlul Qur’an class is a weekly programme held every Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. It serves as a serene platform for staff members to converge for spiritual reflection.

Beyond personal spiritual development, the gathering is a key component of the Founder’s vision to promote Qur’anic literacy and Islamic values within the academic environment.
