KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor Receives NWU Kano Delegation to Advance Qur’anic Science Research

The Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba today welcomed a distinguished academic delegation led by Professor Ismail Muhammad Salis, Director, Centre for Qur’anic Research and Studies, Northwest University Kano, who paid him a courtesy visit.

He was accompanied by Dr. Ibrahim Aliyu Yunus, Head of Department, Arabic Studies, Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies.

The visit focused on fostering collaboration with the International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS), particularly in advancing the training of “Alaramomi” on contemporary approaches to Qur’anic Science. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to blending traditional knowledge with modern methodologies for greater impact.

In a remarkable gesture of support, Professor Salis also donated a collection of valuable Arabic books to the IIQS, further enriching the Institute’s academic resources.
