Kogi State Polytechnic Water Supply Restored to Student Hostel, New Borehole Drilling Begins

The Student Union Government (SUG) President‑Elect of Kogi State Polytechnic, Comr. Abdulwahab Abdulmalik, conducted an inspection visit to the student hostel to assess water availability. The visit confirmed that the water supply has been fully restored and continuous distribution is ongoing.

The restoration follows tireless efforts by the Rector and the school management, who fulfilled promises made last week. In addition, preparations for drilling a new borehole to augment the existing system have commenced, with materials already procured.

Comr. Abdulmalik commended the Rector for his work‑centric approach, student‑friendly demeanor, and commitment to welfare, noting that the hostel now enjoys adequate water facilities.
