According to an official statement signed by the Registrar, Mohammed Jimada Jibril, the university will open its admission portal for registration on June 8, 2026.
The institution stated that the exercise is designed to admit qualified candidates into its various education-focused academic programmes across arts, sciences, business, and technical education disciplines.
Minimum UTME Requirement
The university has set a minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) score of 150 for all applicants. Management noted that candidates who meet this threshold and satisfy other academic requirements will be considered for admission into available programmes across the institution.
KWASUED emphasized that meeting the minimum score does not automatically guarantee admission but qualifies candidates for participation in the screening process and subsequent placement consideration.

Direct Entry Eligibility
The institution also confirmed that Direct Entry (DE) candidates are eligible to apply for admission into any of the listed programmes, provided they meet the required academic qualifications as stipulated by the university and JAMB guidelines.
Application Procedure and Requirements
Prospective candidates are required to visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre to select KWASUED as their institution of choice. Applicants must also ensure that their O’Level results are properly uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.
Registration for the screening exercise will be conducted online via the official university portal at: portal.kwasued.edu.ng
