LASU Consult Limited Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Diploma Degrees and Certificate Programmes

Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with LASU Consult Limited, has announced the commencement of admissions into its Diploma Degrees and Certificate Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The initiative, in line with the university’s mandate of bringing qualitative education closer to the people of Lagos State, aims to equip candidates with practical skills and knowledge relevant to both the private and public sectors.

Certificate Programmes and Requirements

1. Certificate in Tour Guiding

• Requirements: Three (3) credits in relevant Arts, Sciences, or Commercial subjects at not more than two sittings. Credit in English is an advantage.
• Waiver: Candidates aged 30+ with certificates and five years’ experience may apply.
• Duration: 3 months (Part-Time)
• Fee: ₦15,000

2. Certificate in Real Estate & Facility Management

• Requirements: Three (3) compulsory O’Level credits at not more than two sittings.
• Duration: 6 months (Intensive, Part-Time)
• Fee: ₦15,000

3. Certificate in Social Work and Administration

• Requirements: At least three (3) O’Level credits including English, OR age 30+ with three credits, OR OND/NCE/B.Sc. Officers in welfare, religious, media, LG service, and security are encouraged.
• Duration: 3 months (Part-Time)
• Fee: ₦15,000

4. Certificate in French Studies

• Requirements: Three (3) credits including English, or three credits at one sitting plus five years’ work experience, or a recognised professional/degree certificate.
• Waiver: Candidates 35+ with three credits at one sitting may apply.
• Duration: 3 months (Part-Time)
• Fee: ₦15,000

5. Certificate in Cinematography

• Requirements: Three (3) credits in relevant subjects; English an advantage.
• Waiver: Age 30+ with certificates and five years’ experience.
• Duration: 3 months (Part-Time)
• Fee: ₦15,000

6. Certificate in Makeup

• Same as Cinematography.

7. Certificate in Costuming

• Same as Cinematography.

8. Certificate in Screen Writing

• Same as Cinematography.

9. Certificate in Directing

• Same as Cinematography.

10. Certificate in Film Directing

• Same as Cinematography.

11. Certificate in Props Design and Building

• Same as Cinematography.

12. Certificate in Production Management

• Same as Cinematography.

13. Certificate in Production Design

• Same as Cinematography.

Application Details

• Fee per programme: ₦15,000 only.
• Mode: All programmes are Part-Time, with durations ranging from 3 to 6 months.

LASU Consult Limited has emphasized that these programmes are designed to empower participants with market-driven skills while promoting access to qualitative education.
