The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at Lagos State University (LASU) will hold its maiden Orientation Programme for all newly admitted students of the Faculty.

The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at Lagos State University (LASU) will hold its maiden Orientation Programme for all newly admitted students of the Faculty.
The initiative aims to familiarize fresh students with the academic culture, institutional values, and expectations of LASU, while providing guidance on life within the Faculty and opportunities for academic and personal growth.
The Orientation Programme is scheduled as follows:
- Date: Friday, 24th October 2025
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Venue: Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU Main Campus, Ojo
The programme will include interactive sessions with the Faculty leadership, Heads of Departments, and key officers, who will provide guidance on academic procedures, research opportunities, and student support services.
All newly admitted students are expected to attend and be seated by 9:30 a.m. Members of the University community are also invited to participate in celebrating this milestone as FCIT welcomes its inaugural cohort of students.
