LASU Management Monitors Commencement of 2025/2026 Second Semester Examinations

Despite initial hitches, the Second Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, successfully got underway on Monday, 1st June 2026, in line with the University's revised academic calendar. 

As part of efforts to ensure compliance with examination regulations and maintain the highest standards of quality assurance, the University Management, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Oluwatoyin A. ENIKUOMEHIN, led other officials of the University on a monitoring exercise across examination venues.

The monitoring team visited the Faculties of Social Sciences and Management Sciences, where they assessed the conduct of the examinations, evaluated the level of compliance with established guidelines, and interacted with relevant officials to ensure a smooth examination process.

Speaking during the exercise, Professor Enikuomehin acknowledged the initial challenges encountered at the start of the examinations, but expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded and the orderly conduct of the exercise. He commended members of staff and students for their cooperation, resilience, and commitment to ensuring the success of the examinations.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor reiterated Management's commitment to safeguarding the integrity and credibility of the University's examination system. According to him, regular monitoring remains an essential component of LASU's quality assurance framework and a vital tool for sustaining the institution's reputation for academic excellence.

Professor Enikuomehin further assured the University community that Management would continue to provide the necessary support to guarantee a seamless and transparent examination process throughout the examination period.
