The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has congratulated Professor Kazeem Adeola Oshikoya, FNAMed, on his appointment as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe, Lagos State.

The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has congratulated Professor Kazeem Adeola Oshikoya, FNAMed, on his appointment as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe, Lagos State.

Professor Oshikoya, a distinguished scholar in Child Health and Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology at LASU College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Ikeja, previously served as Acting Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics, and Toxicology and was a valued member of the LASUCOM Bulletin Editorial Committee.

In her message of congratulations, Professor Olatunji-Bello described the appointment as well deserved, highlighting Professor Oshikoya’s distinguished academic career, administrative experience, and unwavering commitment to scholarship. She expressed confidence that the new university will benefit immensely from his leadership, vision, and wealth of experience.

Professor Oshikoya, along with other members of the management team, was inaugurated on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, by the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Olatunji Alausa, in Abuja.

The Vice-Chancellor wished him success in his tenure, praying for wisdom, strength, and grace to guide the institution toward excellence and national impact.
