LAUTECH Team Wins Top Prize at Oyo State Employment Summit 2025
A team from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has secured first place at the Oyo State Employment Summit, held at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, on 19th November 2025.

A team from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has secured first place at the Oyo State Employment Summit, held at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, on 19th November 2025.
The team received a ₦500,000 cash prize and a ₦2 million investment from the Special Adviser to the Oyo State Government in recognition of their outstanding project.
The winning team includes Mubarak Erinfolami and Ajibade Ifeoluwa (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and Faizat Olubori (Medicine and Surgery, 300 Level). Their project, AquaVise, is an AI-powered aquafarming solution with an advanced wastewater management system, designed to enhance sustainable fish farming practices. The team was mentored by Professor Tesleem Asafa, Director of the Center for Emerging Skills and Technologies (CEST) at LAUTECH.
This accomplishment highlights the team’s creativity, dedication, and technical expertise, while further strengthening LAUTECH’s reputation for innovation, technology-driven solutions, and meaningful contributions to societal development.
