Lens University Receives NUC Team For Resource Inspection For Additional Programmes

The Lens University Ilemona Management has received the resource persons from the National Universities Commission for the resource inspection of the additional twelve (12) academic programmes.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) team led by Abubakar M. Girei visited the University on Saturday 9th May 2026.

While addressing the University Management during exit briefing, the NUC team lead commended the founders and management team of Lens University for setting up a befitting academic environment for a University standard. He noted that the University has shown its total readiness from all indications to take off the proposed academic programmes.

The team applauded the University after thorough inspection of all the resources and facilities including University environment, noting that the University has invested in infrastructural facilities suitable for academic setting.

Responding to the NUC remarks, the Proprietors acknowledged the thorough exercise of the NUC team and resource persons team lead, Abubakar M. Girei which is aimed at ensuring proper running of the University. The Proprietors equally appreciated the team lead for remarkable comments on the efforts of the University Management to provide a conducive atmosphere for teaching, learning, and research in the University realm.

The Proprietors also noted that all the areas highlighted by the NUC team for improvement will be given immediate attention without delay.
