MAU Yola Partners with Cury Seal Group to Establish Industrial Research and Innovation Hub

In a strategic move to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial application, Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cury Seal Group, an indigenous technology firm specializing in digital systems engineering and industrial automation.

The MoU establishes a framework for collaborative research, the commercialization of innovations, and specialized capacity building. A key feature of this alliance is the joint delivery of virtual, remote, and hybrid professional courses, drawing on technical expertise from Nigeria, India, and other international innovation hubs.

The agreement was formally executed by the Vice-Chancellor of MAU Yola, Professor Ibrahim Umar, and the representative of Cury Seal Group, Dr. Abubakar Usman Ma'aji.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen industry-academic linkages and solidify the university’s position as a premier regional hub for technological development and practical, industry-focused learning.
