Meet Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, A Trailblazer in Nigerian Academia

Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi has made a lasting impact in Nigerian academia, breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings throughout her illustrious career. As one of the youngest professors of law in Nigeria, she has demonstrated exceptional academic brilliance, leadership, and determination.

Prof. Maikudi made history as the first female Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Abuja and later became the first female Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution. Her tenure as Acting Vice Chancellor was cut short when her appointment was terminated on February 6, 2025.
