The Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), at its 134th regular meeting held on 30th October 2025, has approved the adjusted calendar for the Third Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), at its 134th regular meeting held on 30th October 2025, has approved the adjusted calendar for the Third Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session.

According to Dr. Muhammad Mustapha, Coordinator of the Third Semester at NSUK, the approved schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, 10th November – Saturday, 22nd November 2025: Third Semester (First) Registration and Revision

  • Monday, 24th November – Saturday, 29th November 2025: Third Semester (First) Examinations
    Summary: Two weeks for Registration/Revision and one week for Examinations

  • Monday, 5th January – Saturday, 17th January 2026: Third Semester (Second) Registration and Revision

  • Monday, 19th January – Saturday, 24th January 2026: Third Semester (Second) Examinations
    Summary: Two weeks for Registration/Revision and one week for Examinations

Eligibility and Policy Guidelines

NSUK has outlined the following conditions for participation in the Third Semester program:

  1. Students with First and Second Semester carryover courses not exceeding 24 Credit Units combined.
  2. Students who started examinations in a semester but could not continue due to ill-health or similar conditions.
  3. Students who missed examinations in any semester.
  4. Cases of late admission resulting in missed examinations.

All cases listed above are considered carryover cases, meaning students must have registered for the course(s) in either the first or second semester and missed or failed the examination. Dropped courses are not allowed.

Eligible students are required to pay ₦20,000 per course registration, provided it is within the approved timeline and credit units allowed. Registration, revision, examinations, and result uploads must be completed within the approved calendar.

Additional Guidelines

  • Registration for the Third Semester (First) begins immediately after the Second Semester examinations.
  • Registration for the Third Semester (Second) commences only after the release of Second Semester results on the student portal.
  • Registration for the Third Semester is open to all levels and participation is optional.
