Award-winning delegates from the College of Medicine, Godfrey Okoye University (GOU), who excelled at the recently concluded NiMSA South East Convention, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

The delegation included the South East Regional Coordinator of the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA) and the former Face of NiMSA South East.

During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor commended the students for their outstanding performance and the prestige they continue to bring to Godfrey Okoye University. A significant moment of the event was the formal handover of the Face of NiMSA South East title from the outgoing holder, Precious Faith of Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (Parklane), to the newly crowned recipient, Aguigwo Gerald Somtochukwu of Godfrey Okoye University.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated all awardees for their remarkable achievements and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the South East Regional leadership of NiMSA, emphasizing the University’s dedication to initiatives that empower medical students to excel across the region.
