Nasarawa State University Strengthens Partnership with NDLEA

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has hosted a delegation from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to strengthen ties and collaborate on anti-drug efforts.

The meeting, held at the University Council Chambers, aimed to familiarize the NDLEA leadership with the university community and develop shared strategies to address substance abuse. Professor Liman reiterated NSUK's zero-tolerance policy towards drug abuse and appreciated the NDLEA's consistent support.

The NDLEA Area Commander, Mr. Michael Bitrus Emmanuel, highlighted the visit's purpose as establishing a stronger agency presence within the university and seeking partnership in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse. He also invited the Vice-Chancellor to attend the upcoming United Nations International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Enlightenment Campaign.

The event included the unveiling of NSUK-NDLEA branded T-shirts, symbolizing the strong partnership and joint commitment to community sensitization.
