NCAT Graduates 21 Participants of Aeronautical Mobile Service Course and 19 Participants of Firefighter Initial Course
The Management of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria, has graduated twenty-one participants of the Aeronautical Mobile Service Course No. 08, AMS-08, and nineteen participants of the Firefighter Initial Course No. 02, FFIC-02.
The graduation ceremony took place at the College's ultra-modern Auditorium Hall on Friday, 17th July, 2026.
The Dean of the Air Traffic Services Communication School, ATS/Com, Mallam Nasiru Mu'azu, declared the ceremony open.

"I welcome everyone to this graduation ceremony and congratulate the graduates on achieving this important milestone," he said.
Mallam Mu'azu urged the graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired during the training at their respective duty stations.
Presenting the course appraisal for AMS-08, Instructor Agbelusi Abiodun stated that the course commenced on 28th April, 2026 and concluded on 17th July, 2026.
He noted that the course had twenty-one participants, comprising twenty sponsored by the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority, NAMA, and one sponsored by the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria.
Instructor Agbelusi explained that the course was divided into two sections: Data and Communication. He added that all the participants successfully passed their examinations and were qualified to be declared graduates of NCAT.
Speaking on the Firefighter Initial Course No. 02, FFIC-02, the Course Coordinator, Mr. Abdullahi Aliyu, stated that the course commenced on 8th June, 2026 and concluded on 17th July, 2026.
He explained that the course had nineteen participants, comprising ten from Bauchi Airport and nine from the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria.
Mr. Aliyu noted that all the participants successfully completed the course and were qualified to be declared graduates of NCAT. He wished them safe journeys back to their respective duty stations.
The Rector/Chief Executive, represented by the Deputy Rector, Academic, Capt. Jim Hassan, formally declared the participants graduates of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria.
"The Act establishing the College empowers the Rector/Chief Executive to declare participants graduates of NCAT upon the successful completion of their training. By the authority conferred on him, I hereby declare you graduates of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria," he said.
Capt. Jim Hassan congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their training and charged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in the discharge of their duties. He also wished them safe journeys back to their respective duty stations.
During the ceremony, Mrs. Maiwada received the award for the Best Graduating Student in the AMS-08 Course, while Mr. Salisu was recognised as the Second Best Graduating Student. Mr. Ugbede received the award for the Third Best Graduating Student, and Mr. Bello Oluwafemi was honoured as the Most Well-Behaved Student in the AMS-08 Course.
Those in attendance included the Director of Fire Service, Bauchi Airport, Mr. Dauda Bala; the General Manager, Bauchi Airport, Mr. Salisu Momoh; the representative of the Managing Director, Nigerian Airspace Management Authority, NAMA, Mr. Rabiu Muhammad; the Dean of the Aerodrome Safety Engineering School, ASES, Engr. Nasiru Gungura; and the representative of the Registrar, Academic, Mr. Saidu Kashim.
